ChristianDK's original post celebrates the 20th anniversary of the F.P. Journe Tokyo Boutique, a landmark establishment that defied traditional distribution models. This retrospective highlights François-Paul Journe's pioneering vision in opening his own branded boutique in 2003, a move that significantly shaped the brand's global expansion. The article delves into the unique design and philosophy behind this iconic location, which set the precedent for F.P. Journe's worldwide presence.
At a
time when watch brands favoured retailers for their distribution, François-Paul
Journe chose not to follow convention. He was the first to open a subsidiary
and a boutique under his own name in Aoyama, in central Tokyo.

What does that mean?? I’m worried… about the future of one of my favorite brands.
It's not like the brand is closing its doors...😉 watchesbysjx.com
Just after Prada and Converse I spotted the big watch posters. It was the FP boutique with a funny sheet in front of the door, saying to call to book an appointment. I don't know what it means or how to read it, no more LE ever for Japan or worldwide? Anyway this watch shows once again how FP sense of aesthetic is superior to anyone (compared to similar watches).
"The Chronographe FB, produced at 200 pieces, will be the brand's last Limited Series."
...the sales people were always very nice (of course they were...it's Japan) : )
I think this was announced a while ago. And is consistent with the announcement ending the Boutique editions too.
