As soon as I heard that FPJ decided to dispense with the rubber inserts on the bracelet and the ‘bumper’ and rubber crown I knew that this was the sports Journe I wanted and would hopefully add to my collection. That day arrived on Monday when I collected it from the Great team at the Hong Kong boutique who have always been good to me.

I had meant to get some better photos with the Leica but I’m too impatient so forgive me for uploading these poorer quality phone pictures, I promise to get some better ones. I thought that whilst photos of the rose gold and platinum new versions are out there this might be one of the first titanium versions to be delivered so I would post a few now.

I’m glad personally that I waited as for me it is more aesthetically pleasing. It’s on my wrist as I type this and won’t be going anywhere any time soon!

So nice

I have my eyes on this one as well. I tried it recently and I just love it. Im in the same camp as you, who prefer the watch without the rubber ends. However that is a real dividing point. Thank you for the pictures. I really appreciate it.

the RG is stunning.

in fact, I'd happily own any of the three. I opted for this for its lightness and for the fact that I have RG FPJ already in the form of the 10th Anniversary HK Centigraphe so wanted something more casual.
