The craftsmanship on these of both the dials and movements is easy to see and appreciate. I don't know if it's just me but both look like vintage pocket watches that have had lugs added to convert them to wristwatches although this doesn't detract from their beauty it does make look a little strange to me. Is it intentional? I couldn't say, but I personally like that it looks like a "work in progress". In fact, even the dial has some raw elements: look at the power reserve indicator. But I like what it lets us feel: the man alone at his bench doing everything by himself with his own hands, without machines. I may be romanticising, but that's how I feel and what I like about it.
