Friends, I thought it would be interesting to see the Original Girard-Perregaux reference 5420 and the Vintage 1945 reference 2593, side by side. The Vintage 1945/2593 is a tad bigger, but not much… The Original/5420 is not as high which makes it look smaller in this photo. Best Blomman

The 2593 has mainly gained in width but not really in height if I am right (may be the angle of the shot misleads me)?

That\'s always nice to see a vintage model and its new version side by side. We can really compare them and see what kind of choices were made. Best wishes Alkiro

The 2593 is larger all around...

Mostly in thickness. Will try to make a Deeper comparision soon. Best Blomman

Before comparing these both watches, the main problem is to find and own them. Probably the most difficult part but you are the Crocodile Dundee of watches so not a problem for you :-)
