Saw this watch at a dealer in NOS condition, heavily wrapped in plastic (presumably to protect the white rubber from staining), and languishing on the shelf for over a decade. Thought that it deserves to get some fresh air and see the world.

The flyback chronograph has central seconds and minutes counters; 12 hours counter at 6; running seconds at 3; and day-night indicator at 9. First 5 minutes are colored in blue, and 5-10 minutes are in red, to ease timing during regatta races. The dial has a nice eggshell texture.

The main differences that I could see between this and the regular Laureato Evo3 chronograph are the shape of the chrono pushers and the absence of date indication by hand at 12 o'clock. The watch is large and distinctly casual, but complements well white summery attire in my opinion.

The lume is very strong, and applied liberally, as is the case case with most GPs from that era.

As GP has gone 'black and blue' at this SIHH, I opted for something lighter and fresher. Thanks for reading!

I like the white a lot. But then you have all year 'round summer, so perfect for you. Congratulations on that find! Awesome catch. CC
