Having been in town again today, I checked the AD that carried the elusive GP Laureato with a quartz movement, produced in 2010 in a limited edition of 40 pieces, as an anniversary special of their first quartz - a watch I covered in another thread here recently: http://www.watchprosite.com/?page=wf

Having been in town again today, I checked the AD that carried the elusive GP Laureato with a quartz movement, produced in 2010 in a limited edition of 40 pieces, as an anniversary special of their first quartz - a watch I covered in another thread here recently: http://www.watchprosite.com/?page=wf.forumpost&fi=6&ti=1062268&pi=7704998&pzt=

And here it is, live from the AD:

What really identifies it are the red accents - namely the seconds hand, the frequency and the date. I have to say that it was surprisingly light for an all steel, bracelet watch. Have sadly no movement picture but there is a sapphire case back and the finishing on the movement is very nicely done, with a golden cover for the battery. Probably the rarest quartz movement of all time, too (40 pcs) smile The watch sits excellently on the wrist and I could really imagine it. The seconds hand has almost the precision of a GS quartz, without any wobble. And it really is totally unexpected...

What is more surprising though was the ADs comment. Not sure this is actually the case but he very strongly indicated that there will be more quartz watches from GP relatively soon. Anyone know more about that?

Looks awesome! :)

Can't believe this one still at the AD! Well, I didn't hear these rumors... But I don't hear much...! Best Blomman

The AD initially took three of the 40 :)

And sold the first two very quickly , keeping the third for a special occasion, such as a launch of a new Laureato. Another Purist has already declared first dibs on this one
