Blomman Mr Blue offers a compelling side-by-side comparison of the Girard-Perregaux Neo-Tourbillon with Three Bridges in both pink gold and DLC titanium. His detailed observations highlight the distinct wrist presence and aesthetic nuances between these two impressive 45mm tourbillon timepieces, emphasizing how material choice dramatically alters the watch's character.

Friends,

Last year’s novelty the Neo-Tourbillon with Three Bridges in Pink Gold is a heavy fighter! The 45 mm Gold case makes major statement on your wrist.

This year’s novelty the Neo-Tourbillon with Three Bridges and DLC Titanium case is more of a heavy feather weight fighter!

The volume is the same but the weight is much less… The statement is still major, but I would say in a very different way!

The DLC Titanium case has a more of a bad boy look. Almost dangerous…. A fatal attraction!

Here you have the two side-by-side. This shot really show the case side being lowered between the lugs to let the light in… To extend the “channel” under the bridges!

And here is a shot of the back, notice how Girard-Perregaux worked with different metals on the gears of the DLC version.

From the front of the barrel and hands the gear train goes like a Pink Gold river under the bridges!

Love it when GP put the attentions to these kinds of details!

Best

Blomman

Love them both! If I were to choose I wouldn't know which one to pick. Both are mega striking. But they are more safe-queen watches I guess. Not many would be able to pull it off as a daily watch...

it was quite an experience seeing, touching and wearing them a few months back in La Chaux-de-Fonds. My preference remains the pink gold version, due to the silver dial background that makes the black bridges stand out. CC

BUT... This Ne(r)otourbillon is very much my taste! This is the blend I love a lot. While most of black watches are easy money watches, following a trend, this one is daring, audacious, blending tradition and modernity in a superb way. Nerotourbillon or Constant Escapement... Without forgetting some special tourbillons under bridges ( spinnel, sapphire, gold ) here is my crazy dream list. Best, Nicolas.

that I also took a side-by-side shot. All photos though struggle with reflection on the black Neo, but the below was my best attempt. CC

That I find the DLC Titanium somehow more alluring - not that the other one is anything but great...

I would love to have as a every day watch! :) The Pink Gold version, I would not get away with using as a everyday watch at work... Best Blomman
