Friends, Reminded by CC’s great post about the Girard-Perregaux Chronograph 7000… I grabbed the Sea Hawk 7100 the other day when I was at the bank. Reminded by CC’s great post about the Girard-Perregaux Chronograph 7000…

I grabbed the Sea Hawk 7100 the other day when I was at the bank.


 


At first glance the 7000 line case may come off as “un-refined”…

Straight lines, bold lugs, bulky case …


 


But if you ever had one on your wrist you know that is not the feel of the watch at all!


 


In photos it is easy to get fooled…

The moderate size (38.5 mm) and quite thin (10 mm) case makes this watch very comfortable and elegant on the wrist!
