We will start GP this year with the 1966 in rose gold in a smaller 38mm diameter.
The new chronograph
The Annual Calendar EOT in slate grey dial, with everything adjusted simply by the crown. Stunning!
The new Vintage collection with curved cases - featuring moonphase and big date
The new dial for ww.T.C.
Ladie's Cat's Eye
The 1966 Minute Repeater.
The new Laureato Three Bridges Tourbillon in titanium.
This now features blue spinel sapphire bridges - giving off a nice blue sheen (the one on the right is the clear version from before)
Three Bridges Tourbillon, with the bridges that become "narrow" in the center, to replicate the classic design of the Three Bridges Tourbillon.
A version with baguette diamonds.
A completely iced-out ladies Cats Eye in white gold with bracelet, with diamond encrusted automatic rotor.
Ladie's Cat's Eye Tourbillon and Three Bridge Tourbillon.
1966 Pave
There are many things that I like this year. Although the Three Bridges Tourbillon in classic rose gold on strap is a mesmerizing wonder, my heart also goes out to the aesthetic proportion and operational elegance of the Annual Calendar EOT.
Great job GP on SIHH 2012!
Hope you have enjoyed the post.
Yours Truly,
Jon Z. (Z3)

The Girard-Perregaux 1966 Minute Repeater with Annual Calendar and Equation of Time, reference 1966MinuteRepeater, represents a significant addition to the 1966 collection, building upon the minute repeater movement introduced in the preceding year. This particular iteration distinguishes itself by integrating additional complications, elevating its technical complexity and dial presentation within the range. It caters to collectors seeking a high-complication timepiece that combines traditional horological artistry with a refined aesthetic.
This reference features a case crafted from precious metal, housing a sophisticated automatic movement. The integration of an annual calendar, a pointer date, a month indicator, and an equation of time display alongside the minute repeater mechanism demonstrates the brand's expertise in grand complications. The crystal is typically sapphire, providing clarity to the dial and protection for the intricate movement. The design maintains the classic proportions and understated elegance characteristic of the 1966 series.
For collectors, this model appeals to those with an appreciation for haute horlogerie, particularly the combination of an audible complication with practical calendar functions and the more esoteric equation of time. It fits into the Girard-Perregaux lineup as a demonstration of advanced watchmaking capabilities, offering a blend of technical prowess and classical design. The discreet integration of multiple functions on the dial maintains a balanced and legible appearance.
Great to read your report and see all the live pictures. The blue sapphire Laureato looks much better in the live pictures than in the press photos -- the effect of the blueish tint is much more subtle and pleasing. The 1966 line continues to elegantly impress, as well. I agree that the gray dial rose gold EOT is stunning! Cheers, Daos
What in G-d's name did they do to the chrono???????????? A date? A goofy looking little date window? reminds me of a Hamilton or something... oh no, no, no. I assume this is a second version of the chrono... shaking my head. It's amazing how right a brand can be-- (1966 small seconds, etc) and how dead wrong... Strange! yeah I know, non-collectors need a date on their watch, and don't see it the way we see it--or I see it.... I know, market, market.... But wow, what a stinker! And I love GP, I l
But the Minute Repeater was without any doubt one of the key watches of the Fair. The movement is beautiful and technically impressive. Result is an excellent sound quality. Thanks for the pics. Fx
in fact i have a general allergy towards Date window ... how many great watches got messed up because of that HOLE... how many reproductions got meaning less " at least for watch purists" because of that HOLE... Faisal
... to GP for making 38mm model today. Much, much appreciated. Not everyone favors the bigger and thicker watches. Thanks for the report, Z3!
Nice report. Glad to see how GP is "making some noise" again. Always have loved the three bridges Tourbillon movement, it was one of my fav watches for a while, long time ago. The minute repeater looks amazing, the EOT it's a very interesting option. The chrono (maybe too 5070) looks fantastic too. And what to say about the Laureato?, I simply love it, not the perfect look, but a perfect "beater" for the BIG pockets. Would love to Congratulations to the GP team. Thanks for sharing. Vte
