Since I had the opportunity to attend the SIHH again this year, let's share some of the snaps I took there.

Obviously the new Laureato line made the buzz...

The 42 mm steel Laureato could be for many the most convincing...

But actually several other versions are quite appealing too :
The 38 mm in rose gold forthe "colored" lovers

The ladies too have a nice version to enjoy and pair with their husband's one

And the tourbillon lovers will be excited with this one

GP had the godd idea to present an interesting retrospective about the Laureato for showing everybody that this line has a real legitimacy coming from GP's history and is not inspired by some other famous models (i.e. PP Nautilus or AP RO)...

But the GP booth was not all about the Laureato. Actually the Neo Bridges made also the buzz, a cool "bridge" between modernity and GP's DNA.

But these are not the only nice novelties to discover with GP... Ladies will be delighted to find a new Cat's Eye Moonphase in rose gold

and a Peite Seconde version

Finally even if these are not 2017 novelties I think, I cannot finish this post without some pics of the wonderful 3 Ponts d'Or Tourbillon for him and for her

and a spectacular version for her with a diamond bezel

Who said that GP is not among the top houses now is out ! wink

Hope you enjoy these beauties as much as I did.

Best,

Mike

As for the history of the lureto yes it has history and original but the new models I\'m afraid are not as original as the early versions and are very influenced by RO (bezel shape and dial) & PP (lugs and bracelet) Same with the Piaget new model which had history of its own then they decided to mesh the nautilus with aquanaut

still it cannot be denied that the inspiration is at least (not to say more) in their own history as in the others. But I can understand and I do respect that these ones are not going to be yours (as a PP 5712 owner I'm not going to swap either but I still appreciate their new line)
