Grönefeld 1941 Remontoire with Kari Voutilainen 'Bubble' Dial: A Collector's Perspective

I finally have my Gronefeld remontoire after a wait for 15 months due to covid restrictions and I’m over the moon with the piece. The remontoire is a delight to watch and the movement is a joy to behold. For me Gronefeld have an amazing ability to finish a movement which you can tell represents them and their home nation. This piece is a unique with a kari bubble dial in steel and there is another one out in the wild with a case of white gold. I always see these pieces close up so the bubbles in the dial looked big, however they are actually quite subtle in real life and the strap really complements the dial. It’s the perfect size and weight and can be worn dressed up or down and a great all rounder. I’m very happy 😊
