Blomman Mr Blue shares his admiration for the Grönefeld Eight Seconds Remontoire with a blue dial, declaring it his absolute favorite among the brand's offerings. His post celebrates the watch's aesthetic beauty, intricate guilloché, and the mesmerizing visible remontoire mechanism, which he believes should never be hidden.

Of all the beautiful Grönefeld watches the brothers showed us in Haarlem last year...

This was my absolute favourite - the Eight Seconds Remontoire with blue dial!

Pure, elegant, blue, stunning Guilloche pattern...

And of course, the Eight Seconds Remontoire spinning!

Personally I can not understand why one would like to hide that...?!
Like hiding Mona Lisa's simle...

The beauty is not only on the dial...
On the back maybe even more so!

The architecture, the layout, the polishing...

We often talk about how the dial plays in the light...
Here the movement plays as well!

Again, big thank you to Tim and Bart for showing us this fantastic piece of art!

It's splitting hairs (for me at least) between Remontoire and Principia and the various dial possibilities. Now, from a cost perspective, the Principia is more accessible by far. Nice photos. Thank you. M4

Does Kari Voutilainen make the dial? Looks like his work.
