Have to position the dial to make the most of - or minimize - the reflections. There were overhead spotlights in the airport lounge, but I noticed that the position of the wood paneling and natural light from the window above gave a brushed effect to the dial.

I’d say that this wears way smaller than its 42+mm size. Also, the racing track register on the circumference makes the watch appear way smaller than the perpetual despite the identical dimensions.
