In a captivating post, VintageAlex (aka AlexKontiki) presents two exceptional chronographs, inviting the WatchProSite community to weigh in on his potential acquisitions. This discussion delves into the nuanced appeal of independent watchmaking, highlighting the distinct merits of both H. Moser & Cie. and Singer Reimagined. Alex's query sparks a conversation about design, movement innovation, and the unique satisfaction of owning a less recognized, yet horologically significant, timepiece.

The moser is iconic and gorgeous at the same time. Fully-functional water-resistant Flyback chrono even if activated under water. Lovely finishing with the added Batman. Great package overall Now if you’ve got a singer resto-modded 964 Porsche…
But I’m considering just one, can’t afford both 😞 all my savings just for one.
Fantastic case shape and finishing. Movement is a mix of machine and hand finishing which is more than you’d tyipically get from Moser. It wears smaller than you’d think. Great package overall and like nothing else I have in my collection. I recommend highly.
A fantastic and great modern looking watch
While Singer is probably the stealthier of the two, with practically no one away from here recognizing it 😊🥷🏻
Ultimate stealth, but you need to like the design.
