A happy day yesterday, with the arrival of a new piece from Austria via San Diego...

As usual, the first step is to assemble the ceremonial watch opening rug and William Henry box opener:

Very clever internal packaging -- certainly keeps the watch isolated from shock, and avoids all of those nasty foam peanuts

Box and papers:

Inside of the simple box, the warranty/instruction book and a well-wrapped watch-like item

Lower tray contains the usual goodies from Richard and Maria

It's finally time!  At the critical juncture, all vestiges of photographic technique abandoned me, so all I have in forcus is this fairly harsh flash photo -- oh well...

Looks good on the hand, doesn't it?  smile  Credit to Laikingland and the M.A.D. gallery for this one...

A few shots from the light tent coming in a separate post!  In the meantime, many thanks to Richard for working over the weekend to finish this piece and to Tim for getting it to me in time for last night's GTG with PuristS friends.

Best,

Gary G

Gary...

CONGRATULATIONS! You just patronised (is that the correct term?) one of the most exciting watches (and makers) currently. I hope ( and I am sure) you'll enjoy that watch very much! Cheers, Magnus
