jrwong23 (aka watchthebin) shares his impressions of the Hublot Classic Fusion, particularly comparing the new blue dial version with classic black dial and ceramic case options. His initial fascination with the blue dial led to a hands-on evaluation, where he weighed its playful aesthetic against the enduring appeal of black dials for daily wear. This post invites the community to discuss their preferences among these distinct Classic Fusion variants.

Some models I checked out at the AD in Singapore. I was fascinated by the new blue Hublot Classic Fusion from Ken's post and decided to drop by the AD to check them out.

Interestingly, to be honest, I wasn't sure about the blue in the metal. It is nice no doubt but somehow when I compared it to the Classic Fusion black dial and the all ceramic case version (with carbon fiber dial), I felt the black dials look more enduring to me. And some of you will know I am a fan of blue dials smile

The blue is nice and playful but I find it a bit tacky too. Perhaps nice as a party watch or evening watch but not a daily wearer which I feel the black dials will do better.

Some pics to share. What do you think of the blue vs black in steel vs the ceramic case version ?

Cheers
Robin

These are the 41mm models? Seem to fit your wrist well.

As for preference, I think it depends on how you are going to wear it. For a more versatile purpose, I prefer the plain black dial. For casual or matching certain outfit style/ colors, I would pick the blue dial. Personally I'm not a big fan of dials with carbon or similar texture. Just my quick thought. Cheers, Luis

42mm bro

Yes surprising fits quite well. The dial is not too big and the case quite ok too so 42mm is a good size. The strap is super comfortable too! The legendary Hublot strap which combines the best of leather and high tech rubber material Cheers Robin

So why not the opaline silver dial (Richards version) in 42mm! :-)

I decided for it as well. Still love it! Also you can combine brown straps (e.g in summer) which looks perfect as well!

Oh! I forgot to mention that my favorite Classic Fusion is Richard's white dial version. [nt]
