Among numerous high-end watch encounters, one timepiece, the Laurent Ferrier Tourbillon Double Spiral, resonated with him on an exceptional level. His detailed account and stunning photography offer a deep dive into why this specific reference stands out as a true grail for a seasoned collector.

And the one you show is probably just as great as the one I've tried one. But, for my taste, I know now that there's just no other way to go than this YG, white enamel, Roman numerals.
And so is the 2N yellow gold case (2N is as light as yellow gold can be - LF told me that he would have liked it to be even lighter but that was not really/easily possible). And so is the movement and so are the hands. I've tried on many watches over the last few years and this particular one is really something else (for me, of course). Best, Emmanuel
And when you do, it's wonderful.
Just curious is the hinged case back the only thing covering the movement, or is there another case back behind it?
even if it takes a few years... At least it really makes sense to me. Best, Emmanuel
It embodies the apex of stylistic and technical features you have pointed out, on numerous occasions, appeal to you the most. Personally, I'd go for the platinum case, teal dial variant ππ. Thanks for the excellent images, I can't wait to see your upcoming posts on other watches from this, evidently, amazing trip to Geneva ππ. Cheers my friend, Filip
