GWIS's acquisition of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Amvox 7 offers a timely look at a unique chapter in modern horology. His initial impressions highlight the watch's distinctive design and functional innovations, inviting collectors to revisit the final main installment of the JLC x Aston Martin collaboration. This piece explores how the Amvox 7, with its 'busy/mad' dial and integrated power reserve, continues to captivate enthusiasts a decade after its launch.

The symmetrical date really seals the deal. The piece is technical, interesting and well-designed. I wouldn't have the patience to keep my hands off of it either. Enjoy! John
Wasn't expecting this one from you! Sincere congratulations, enjoy it thoroughly ........
I’m glad I’m not the only one to love the “7”. All the best, Jon
I know you prefer your “Plamvox”, which is very understandable - it’s grown up, smart and sophisticated. The 7 is a teenager with tattoos, body piercings and green hair😀
One of the daring examples in watch making of JLC in those days.
I own Amvox7 as well and love it. Find the dial to be somewhat too busy as you've also mentioned but that is sort of compensated to me by the addition of this very special power reserve indicator. Also, may be it is just me but I see AMV7 as a younger brother to EL2 red version. Just look at pics, they have much in common, I think. Anyway, my sincere congratulations! Enjoy.
