The Duometre is such an interesting watch - with an impressively finished movement. I would not be at all surprised to see a significant price increase on this line - which I consider a “loss leader” in terms of price compared to complications and finishing. Were this to come from Vacheron or Patek the price would likely be 2x - and with the level of movement finishing and the use of maillechort it looks to be a bargain at current pricing even compared to other lines from JLC.
