Joe (4Js) shares his experience visiting the Jaeger-LeCoultre NYC boutique, focusing on the Duometre line. His post offers a comparative look at various Duometre models, including the GMT, Paris edition, and platinum chrono, alongside a brief comparison with A. Lange & Söhne, providing valuable insights for collectors considering these high-complication pieces.

they are all great watches with great movements.. Nilo & Nico [ Hmmm, nice name combo ) ] all demonstrated the beauty of both. It will be nice to handle them in metal, see for myself...If I want a JLC, I will get the Duometre and 1 Reverso. So in the end, I guess you still prefer Lange? Rgds Raymond
I am jealous. Judging only by your photos, I would agree with you that the Paris edition is the best option. As you know, these are not for me, but even I am impressed to see these all lined up. Now what happened at Lange??? Respo
I love both brands. I own the black chrono duometre. It is a great watch Interestingly, the jlc boutique salesman took my Lange, turned it over and the jlc and discussed the finishing of both! Thanks Joe
I didn\'t post the second half of the jlc visit. I had my wife with me and this was her selection As for Lange, I went in to see this first hand to compare to the VC Cornes de Vache! Best Joe Ps. Stopped at VC to get my new shoes for my Mercator. That will be another thread!
Will take the VC in a split second. I saw this 1815 during my Dubai trip, side by side with the 1815 HG, it was indeed very nice! The movement is so nice and attractive. I am thinking about a high end chrono, but Dato is too big, so it will be 5170, VC or this 1815. Rgds Raymond
Duometre QL Enamel, UTT Paris Boutique, and of course, à Chronographe. The best of JLC, for me. They have an impressive selection at the JLC Boutique! Best, my friend, and thanks for this post. Nicolas
