Part 3's pictures were completely messed up….must have to do with the upload, as they appear correctly on my word file.  Here the part 3 of the article again. I hope that everything is fine now.

Best,

Stefan

JLC Masterclass Part 3 – The Duometre a Spherotourbillon and the MUT Tourbillon

After we managed the put the cal 875 back in "working order" (not quite, but at least back to the initial state), we were rewarded with the sight of something really special: The Duometre a Spherotourbillon

Here we go: This marvelous piece was brought by Mr. Torres for display at this Mastserclass, with the clear order to bring it back to Le Sentier.

Detail of the Spherotourbillon. It is simply stunning and it is difficult to take the eyes of it.

For a review of the Spherotourbillon, please see Nicolas excellent article under http://jlc.watchprosite.com/show-forumpost/fi-2/pi-5102253/ti-767638/s-0/

I could easily get used to it…

Duometre a Quantieme Lunaire and Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon – sorry for the reflections on the picture

Beautiful piece, excellent. Size 40.5 mm, if I am not mistaken

The Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon is very elegant. I am very fond of the clean dial

Movement side of the The Master Ultra Thin Tourbillon with beautifully decorated 22K gold rotor.

Afterwards, we were treated to a nice "aperitif riche" – which I forgot to picture resp. I was too busy with the tasty delicacies.

I left at 12.50….it was time to go back home for lunch….

In the mean while, the weather cleared up….

and the summer was back for another day!

Sincere thanks to Mrs. Born of the JLC Boutique in Lucerne, to Mr. Williner, Mr. Stockhammer of Bucherer and Mr. Faessler of Bank Saransin for organizing and hosting the event.

Last but not least a big "thank you!" to Mr. Torres and Mr. Rochat of JLC Le Sentier for teaching us greenhorns patiently for a full morning!

Best,

Stefan

Now, all is in order, my friend. Nice post.

It is always cool to see such fine watches in the same post! The Duometre is, from my point of view, a killing family. I would have passed on the 40.5 mm one, though, or I would have done something else in this smaller case. But this is just my opinion. The Sphero is just startospherical! :) Best, Nicolas

Thanks for the post...

it's great to see JLC decorating both sides of the movements (which, years ago, they didn't). And Lucerne is such a beautiful town. -Dean
