amanico shares a captivating photo essay of his Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre Unique Travel Time (UTT) enjoying a day at sea in Marina Del Rey. This post challenges the conventional wisdom of where such a refined timepiece belongs, demonstrating its versatility and elegance even in an unexpected, dynamic environment. His imagery highlights the watch's aesthetic appeal against a picturesque coastal backdrop.

The sea is logically not the most logical place to wear a Duometre, even UTT.

But, surprisingly, it worked quite nicely.

11. 13 AM, let's start the engines:

The neighborhood of the Marina Del Rey is very chic. This Cormoran seems to be more used than me to this environment, though...

Let's leave the Marina...

One of my favourite wrist shot, due to the very clean dial of the Duometre, and the nose of the boat in the background:

These colored houses are full of charm. Heaven must not be too far:

A last shot of the Marina, before taking the sea:

Ok, now we can let the engines run at their full potential, for the fun and the sensation. The Duometre UTT seems to appreciate:

The tempest before the calm, in this order, for once... wink

A priviledged view on the Santa Monica Pier:

Another view, without the Duometre:

I said that it was a bit surprising to see the Duometre in such an environment, but in fact, it is not.

After all, the Duometre is a fine watch which is at its place when it is a luxurious one.

Travelling with class is very good!

Best,

Nicolas.

But then again who would not be. The watch look very at home as it takes the high seas. Can't wait for the next episode on the trip. Best Bill

... wherever you put it. Cool shots Nicolas, all of them ( nicer without the jacket on though ). The globe at 6h gives this watch a special look and a strong personality. Keep on enjoying!
