I can understand the reticence. The originals only had a relatively short production run 70 years ago - probably not a large pool of people who are aware of them or think they're a model which is iconic for JLC. Also from what I've read - very complex & they didn't make any money from the original run. Even now, if you have one it can be a challenge to get it serviced. Still think it's a great watch & is emblematic of their skills. I feel lucky to have got mine & enjoy it, So while I'd like to s
