Nicolas (amanico) brings renewed attention to the Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic Universal Time, a reference that enjoyed a surprisingly brief production run from 2015 to 2019. He argues that this model, with its unique combination of a world time complication and 'dead beat seconds' (True Second), alongside its exclusive Caliber 772, is significantly undervalued and poised to become a future collector's item. His analysis prompts a deeper look into the watch's distinctive features and its place within JLC's modern horological offerings.

It had a very short run, and I believe, small production. I tried my best to get this version instead of the regular version but it was all sold out except for the boutique in Canada (someone on FB told me it was in his boutique). My favourite part of it is the JL logo neatly sitting in the dial. It is so regal. There is no further way to improve this watch, it is perfect!
and it can be caught for a fistful of beans.
Nice dial and cool functionality.
Just curious. Thanks, respo
...it is a beautiful and interesting piece now and likely always will be. I am surprised it had such a short life. I can understand why this is on your list, Nicolas. I love this world timer. Were there different versions of this model? Thanks fro the reminder about this lovely and romantic piece. respo
Like that? Without: With... On the outer part of the dial between 5.30 and 6.30 o' clock. You see it is missing in the first picture.
