The Geophysic Universal Time is in my top five modern Jaeger Lecoultre list, Gyrotourbillon apart. It is my favorite modern Geophysic. Probably because I have something for world time, but also because it houses a superb automatic movement, a modern calibre, with this " True Second " feature which is a plus for me.

And last but not least, because it is such a cool watch to wear.

But still in my head and heart.

Best,

Nicolas

Although I absolutely love the beautiful dial artwork I can’t but think dual time/ gmt watches are more useful from a practical standpoint. Am I wrong?

As for the more useful function of a GMT or Dual Time, it is simpler, and different, since you don't have the time in the whole world, but only in another time zone.

I’d put the duo UTT there, along with the reverso blue GRUT blue and red. Septantieme if we can count it. It’s a tough exercise!!!! Too many out there!

I picked this up last month, really happy with every detail about it. After contemplating different worldtimers this was my choice, is a complete and clever world timer beautifuly finished and with an unusual complication. Is there anybody that has had the watch for a long time? Wondering about long term ownership and wearability? For me this is something more special, not an everyday piece.. even for me after having 10 other watches this is kind of my “watchgeek” watch, meaning only people that
