Ruckdee shares the exciting journey of acquiring his Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Calendar, a watch he had wished for publicly before its SIHH 2012 debut. His unboxing and detailed impressions offer a personal look at this highly anticipated timepiece, highlighting its aesthetic balance and functional sophistication for collectors.

Sport/chic, very nice dial and bravo for the pictures, very nice. Kind regards. Francois
I like the beginning on the story with the expression of your dream and of course... the outcome! These pictures are really superb! Congrats for this great watch, one of my fav 2012 novelties for sure. Fx
You must be ecstatic Ruckdee.:) That is indeed a dream Reverso - big congrats! fernando
Could you please order me the same in perpetual form plus a Patek 5170 made of steel and with a very dark blue dial. Thanks in advance! Best, Kari
...then when it was delivered. Not that anything is wrong with the physical execution of the watch. One possible reason is that it is not my first Reverso and I have had the Master Moon previously. This new acquisition is merely a combination of form I already have and functions I have had owned. I'm not trying to be hard to please, of course! :D Ruckdee
...I can think of one watch that may satisfy your craving for a dark blue Patek 5170 at least momentarily. It may be a lesser watch but at a fraction of the price of the 5170 it shouldn't be too bad a deal I believe. Ruckdee
