That sector dial is very cool. On this particular piece, the hands make for easy viewing of the chronograph registers since they are unfilled. One of my favorite watches is the original Master Compressor Chronograph. This movement is reliable and accurate. I prefer having the running seconds at six, which many of the newer JLC watches omit.
I initially saw this as a “budget” piece. I have now determined that this is a JLC, through and through. Maybe not my most preferred “design language,” but it works!!
I've dithered the last two years over this watch. The feel of the chrono pusher is sublime. My only issue with it is the lack of running seconds. Perhaps that may not bother you if you keep the chrono running. Just putting it out there and I cannot rule out adding this to my collection at some point.
The box don't tell us much. The logo reveals what it is and I guess some is familiar with it. Yes, it's a full set that only miss the watch so I have to see if I can find it. I do and now we getting closer. The crown has the logo too and here we can see it's a chronograph. A touch of blue and retro style will be great.
