The Master Minute Repeater Antoine Lecoultre was the first modern Minute Repeater by Jaeger Lecoultre. Issued in 2005, in platinum, in a limited edition of 200 pieces.

You know its face very well:

But did you know that it had Antoine Lecoultre's signature on the movement?

At that time, in 2005, this is the watch which amazed and surprised me the most. I was totally obsessed by it at the point to forget the Gyrotourbillon One, born one year before.

When one year after, the titanium version came out, I knew I would have to do everything to get it.

But still, I cannot forget all the feelings this Antoine Lecoultre version provided to me.

Best,

Nicolas

This piece has tempted me many times mon ami but I think I might wear the Ti model more which is the only reason why ai haven't added one already 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Maybe I should revisit this piece as well 🤷‍♂️

The Ti is lighter, much lighter, and more comfortable on the wrist. Add the very modern open dial and you have a winner.

Agreed in both comfort and dial configuration for me. I like thr idea of the platinum case on this one and if it had the same skeletonized dial of the Ti version, I would be more keep on this one as well...

Guess will have to be patient and see what happens 👍😉
