Nicolas (amanico) revisits the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Minute Repeater Antoine Lecoultre, a timepiece that profoundly impacted him upon its 2005 release. His personal account highlights the watch's significance as JLC's inaugural modern minute repeater and its unique design elements, including the hidden signature on the movement. This article delves into why this particular reference captivated collectors and set a new benchmark for the brand's haute horlogerie.

The Master Minute Repeater Antoine Lecoultre was the first modern Minute Repeater by Jaeger Lecoultre. Issued in 2005, in platinum, in a limited edition of 200 pieces.

You know its face very well:

But did you know that it had Antoine Lecoultre's signature on the movement?

At that time, in 2005, this is the watch which amazed and surprised me the most. I was totally obsessed by it at the point to forget the Gyrotourbillon One, born one year before.

When one year after, the titanium version came out, I knew I would have to do everything to get it.

But still, I cannot forget all the feelings this Antoine Lecoultre version provided to me.

Best,

Nicolas
