Amanico's exploration of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon 39 (MUT Moon 39) highlights how dial and case material variations profoundly influence a watch's character. His visual comparison underscores the importance of these aesthetic choices in defining the elegance and appeal of this iconic reference. This article delves into the nuances that make each version distinct, offering valuable insights for collectors considering this versatile timepiece.

The " MUT Moon 39 "  is a very elegant watch, offering different characters according to the different dials and metals.

In steel, it is almost austere, very sober with a white dial:

Powerful with a black dial... Probably my favorite combo.

Refined and understated in white gold / grey:

Warmer in rose gold grey:

Exclusive in white gold guilloché blue enamel:

Once again, the dial makes a lot, in the appeal of a watch...

Best,

Nicolas

The color of that dial the guilloche the way the date numbers are raised makes it my favorite.

An elegant piece in a perfect size. The rose gold, cream dial is lovely too. Has a wonderful vintage vibe. Credit: watchcollectinglifestyle
