Nicolas (amanico) presents an exquisite visual exploration of his Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Caliber 914 Manual Winding, a modern reference he champions above all contemporary JLCs, save for the Tribute to Polaris and Deep Sea Alarm. His detailed photographs highlight the watch's 36mm case, dateless black dial, and the intricate manual-winding Caliber 914 movement, offering a fresh perspective on a beloved collector's piece.

There are many small details on the dial that really set this one apart! A modern take on the Memovox executed very well, and still with Tritium - perfect!
This is really nice! Looks great!
The movement is indeed superb.
Is the little part near and partly above the balance wheel the hammer? And is it meant to strike the kind of semi-round "tuning fork"? I'm trying to understand what I see, but this caliber is very unusual...
A very charming alarm timepiece +++
It was not produced for long, and those fortunate enough to possess one cherish it dearly. Everything about it is delightful: the sound of its chime, the contrast between the two facets of the dauphine hands, the tritium dots on red circles, its very reasonable size... Yours is a truly beautiful specimen."
