Nicolas, known as 'amanico' on WatchProSite, shares an exquisite photograph of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Timer, highlighting its dial under natural light. His post sparks a discussion not only about the aesthetic choices for this specific reference but also broader considerations for the Memovox line, particularly regarding strap pairings and comparisons between vintage and modern iterations.

Hi, Sorry that my question is not about the Timer version of the Memovox but this seems to be the most recent thread and you seem to be the guy to ask so here goes... I'm a big memovox fan but not owned one before. I'm can't decide at either the Tribute to Polaris or the Mariner Memovox Polaris. The 50th Anniversary one was in the running but the upgrades with regards screw in crown and 'clicking' bezel have won me over to the Mariner, if going new. I'd love to know your thoughts please Thanks,
That blue is gorgeous.
Thanks. what are your feelings between a new Mariner and the older 'Tribute' version though? Both cool watches but would you choose vintage charm over new tech or visa versa?
is height an issue on the tribute?
thanks for your time!
But I wish the alarm dial and date window were also in a shade of blue. It would be more subtle and less flashy. Best, E.
