I wonder however if we will see more boutiques following suit in light of current events. Not necessarily JLC, but boutiques from every manufacturer. Between COVID and e-commerce brick and mortar stores are hurting.

that JLC does not enough to stand out and has long lost the battle to Patek Rolex and Royal Oak.

I have never been to this boutique in the Miami Design district, but despite the Covid-19 situation, the Miami design district in the past few years has seen many high-end watch boutiques open there, and reportedly is a lovely high traffic luxury watch destination. The fact that JLC has chosen to not support this boutique in these admittedly obviously trying times is indeed sad. I fear that this is more troubling data that JLC is in the midst of a longer term identity crisis vis-a-vis its recent
