Sometimes a watch finds you. I was not aware of this model, but was offered it at a fantastic price. The seller pics were not great, and the back looked scratched up. I did some research and found that this case is titanium with the DLC coating. I had a Girard Perregaux with that coating, and it was super durable. I looked at the photos again and decided the scratches were really dried up sunscreen. The Master Compressor Navy Seals Diving GMT Chronograph arrived yesterday. A toothpick and wet towel cleaned it right up. I had this sailcloth in my bag of straps, which solves my concern about the OEM strap not being suitable for water immersion. I have a rafting/camping trip coming up, and this seems like a suitable companion.

One question, why do you sometimes wear on the left and sometimes on the right wrist? I noticed looking at your pics of this watch.

I have exclusively worn all watches on my right wrist but sometimes I wear them on the left for picture taking.

I liked this model for a long time, hope one day I get to see it in the metal and try it on. Quick question, does it have hacking seconds? Best, Zsolt.
