Marv shares his journey through the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso collection, culminating in the acquisition of the Tribute to Reverso 1931 Edition Rouge. His post beautifully illustrates the enduring appeal of the Reverso's mechanical ingenuity and its evolution from vintage classics to modern interpretations, highlighting the unique charm of the red dial.
Huge congratulations, Marv, my friend. This is one of these watches you have to see in the real, to wear, to feel, if you want to fully understand and enjoy it. And nothing to complain about, a the exception of the strap, which is, as often with JLC, not at the level of the watch. I should hurry to get one, before it gets discontinued... Best, Nicolas
Happy New Year Marv, great choice with the red, wear it in the best of health! -MW
Hi, But your two vintage Reverso pieces are very tempting too! Best Dje
I have not yet seen the Red in the metal. But your pictures give me a hint how different the dial can look like under different conditions. It seems to play in the field between bold and elegant. Have to see it one day. Enjoy it a lot and wear it in good health, Marv! Martin
