Nicolas (amanico) shares his unexpected encounter with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso 976 Ceniceros, a limited edition piece featuring an enamel case back. This article highlights the artistic collaboration with Guillermo Ceniceros and the unique appeal of a Reverso that combines horological craftsmanship with fine art, making it a significant piece for collectors.
Holala, magnifique! I remember reading, probably back in 2011 how the work was done, there were very nice articles with pictures on this site. I really like the minimalist style of work from Mr Ceniceros it goes soooooo well with the shape of the Reverso, in my opinion. Thank you Nicolas.......still working hard during your vacations:) Cheers my friend Francois
with this piece, only because of Nicolas' original post and a follow-up post by a fellow Purist, whom I do not recall his handle. I had been looking for a long time for my first Reverso, and could not make up my mind, until I saw this posted. For me, this piece combines all of the elements I wanted. The hands, the arabic nuberals, the multiple guilloche, which can be so hard to capture in a picture. The seconds dial is the most difficult with its design. But the icing on the cake was the back. T
This is one of my very favorite Reversos. It is literally a work of art with that enamel on the verso side. Thank you fro reminding us all of this special Reverso. All best, respo
I took two quick pix of my trio, the Rouge, the Bleu, and the Cencieros, to show size difference/relationship. Also the one photo shows all the guilloche patterns. Hope you all are calling the BHB placing your orders!! Best, Joe
I'll take one of each! This is a really well-composed set of Reversos, and each has its own strong personality. I would have a hard time picking just one of these, but I guess you know I would go red. ;-) Excellent job! respo
