This year, Jaeger Lecoultre unveils 6 new Reverso Classic Duo belonging to the " Atelier Reverso " collection.

To be clear, 6 Reversos  Classic Duo in the medium case ( 42, 9 x 25, 5 x 9, 2 mm ) and 6 in the large size ( 47 x 28, 3 x 10, 3 mm ).

With the Reverso Classic Duo from the " Atelier Reverso " Collection, Jaeger Lecoultre played on the verso dial.

The Recto is very classic, well known:

The " normal " Reverso Duoface " verso dial.

While the verso explodes in different colors: Carbon Fiber ( the colder ), Blue, Red, and three stone dials, which are, in my opinion, very interesting. Among these three stone dials, I could manage to take live pictures of the Marble Green.

Recto: Classic.

Verso: The Feast.

As I was lucky enough to see these 6 versions in the flesh, I must admit that three of them hit my attention in a brutal way: The Red, the Marble Green and the Tiger's eye.

This Marble Green is just superb. The color, associated to the texture of the marble caught my eyes, and well, yes, maybe my heart, as well.

Which leads me to this thought: Isn't it a pity the feast is on the verso, the side you less often see or use?

Wouldn't you prefer to see that superb treatment on the recto dial?

On the other side, we could also say that the special decoration is the secret apanage of the owner, for his exclusive pleasure, as he just has to flip the case to enjoy the party.

Without any surprise, you will find the Cal 854 beating inside that Reverso, as any other Reverso Duo or Tribute Duo.

The other thing which came to my mind is that I tend to prefer the medium case for that watch. But for those who are in search of a bigger watch, the large size is made for them.

I am curious to read your comments and thoughts on this one.

Best.

Nicolas

The unusual verso dial is stunning and, as usual, beautifully executed. I take your point about which side the decoration is on but perhaps that only applies when using the watch whilst travelling. Reverso Duos are in effect 2 watches(for the price of one!) and in my case when wearing my old-style Duo I find myself regularly flipping from one side to the other to better enjoy the watch. Obviously, I have them both set at the same time. The great thing really about Duos is that there's no limit t

I think it adds a little touch of excitement to know there's a secret hidden face in there, which at the flip of the case, reveals it's charms!

Thanks for these pictures and report Nicolas! Your comment on size is interesting, it is because of the homogeneity of the case that you prefer the mid-size or its actual size? I am asking that as I know you own a beautiful Septantième that has a case even bigger than the current large case. All the best, É
