Nicolas (amanico) brings to light a truly special timepiece: the Jaeger-LeCoultre Rose Gold Reverso Chronographe Rétrograde from the 1990s. This article delves into why this particular reference, especially a rare prototype, continues to captivate collectors and stands as a testament to JLC's horological prowess during a pivotal decade for the Reverso line.

A pity that Reversos don't really sing to me on the wrist, because I would really like to have one.
Timeless elegance at its best.
And buying a watch to not wear it doesn't make sense to me, although sometimes I even consider it 😅
1990s were the best decade for Reverso... And that's when I first discovered the Reverso - in 1997 - and became very much attracted to it. Even today, Reversos still grip me and don't let go.
Amazing how different it is the contemporary version (albeit stunning too), yet this has a number of elements that make this so much more fanciful and special.
And some of those XGT cases too were very nice. A bit big and thicker, but still very nice.
