Thanks for sharing this beautiful and imposing watch with us.
.... To see how much pleasure the Septantième has brought you! Thank you for sharing, always a good read when there is a personal touch to the story. May you enjoy this for many more decades in good health, my friend!
With so many top complications on the face and a view on the stunning movement on the back, it is an amazing piece. Thank you for sharing the story around it.
I've always enjoyed this piece. Large date, high finishing, gold movement, and an incredible dial with lots of special treatments and colors (in the platinum version). Aesthetically, I find that the dual color of the hands is very appealing to me. I'm really glad there is no lume on the dial, as I find lume on dials a potential liability when it starts to degrade and flake. A gorgeous piece that is even more gorgeous in the metal!
Thank you for this share, including your reflections on it, plus the personal link to its provenance & your friend ! I can imagine, that this one covers a very special niche in your collection.! Continue to wear it in the very best of your health ! Best, hs
Always good to hear the story of your specifically chosen watches! I would be interested in comparing the weight between this one and my "simple" Grande Réserve. I wear mine very easily. Thanks for the nice shots and take care. Best, E.
