swatchme77's original post reignites a discussion around the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso XGT, a model celebrated for its significant complications during its era. This article delves into why the XGT case size, initially perceived as bulky by some, has garnered a dedicated following among collectors. It explores the enduring appeal of its dual-face versatility and the intricate movements housed within.

I'd long thought these cases were too big and bulky. But then I finally tried it and was immediately hooked! Now I think I own the best Reverso possible:
Really love it, great versatility also for travelling.. Continue to enjoy it in the Best of your health ! Nice Recto face, has it all. - Plus the GMT features & Night & Day on the contrasted Verso side.. HAGWE & Best, hs.
But I have to confess, this watch is not longer in my collection. Best Thomas
And a great strap, too! All the best Thomas
I loved the rear black dial but didn’t 100% appreciate the front dial. For me it was too “cluttered (the cut off “4” and “7” disturbed me the most back then). And I also didn’t feel well with this brick of red gold on my wrist … Times and tastes obviously change…. LOLLL
Here you go with my Grande Réserve! Best, E.
