As we are on to discover the 2016 novelties in tow days, I was browsing some of the pictures I took during these last 10 SIHHs... If we can all agree that 2007 was and still is hard to beat ( Extrem Lab One, Duometre à Chronographe, Gyrotourbillon II, Master 8 Days Perpetual Skeleton platinum... ),

If we can all agree that 2007 was and still is hard to beat ( Extrem Lab One, Duometre à Chronographe, Gyrotourbillon II, Master 8 Days Perpetual Skeleton platinum... ), the 2011 collection was thrilling, too, with two watches which will become Community watches, and whose unveiling was totally unexpected: The Tribute to Deep Sea Alarm ( US and Europe ), and the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931.

Pictures taken during the 2011 SIHH.

Indeed, these 2 were a total surprise and I well remember that the review I wrote about the TT DSAs received the most " hysterical " welcome.

The Tribute to Reverso 1931 put the light on the icon, refreshed it. The Tribute to Deep Sea Alarm helped to better know a model which most of the people didn't know.

The 2016 Reverso collection was partially unveiled, one month ago.

I wonder what kind of surprises we'll soon have.... 48 hours to wait.

Best,

Nicolas

I certainly understand how it would have gotten a rave reception in 2011 Not seen the TT DSAs live yet but given how many members have them, they must be quite something, too Looking forward to what Monday brings!

That none are in the immediate vicinity at the moment. Or my wallet is I\'m sure I will find one to try sooner or later, and hope to already to have scratched the itch on one of the other ones by then, so the list does not keep getting longer...

Such is age , that I cannot remember - did they announce both the international and US versions of the TTR1931 at SIHH 2011? Or was the US version (the one with the syringe hands) announced later that year? I do remember that the Fagliano cordovan strap option was later in 2011 or in 2012 though. Then again, my memory is terrible nowadays haha.

.. Wear them freuently and still love these Mermaids of the Sea.. a lot ! Also remember vividly the great moments in Paris with some good friends, when receiving the first, which was the EU.. - These DSAs are very special to me ! 2011 was a great year, indeed : The TTR then was the one to complete the TT Trio of 2011.. Lookng forward to hearing your SIHH \'16 news very soon.. Best, my friend, hs
