GreatCookie shares his excitement about acquiring the limited-edition Jaeger-LeCoultre NSA Incursion and seeks community insights into its technical specifications and strap options. His post highlights the importance of clarifying material details like DLC coating and gathering practical information from fellow owners, making it a valuable resource for prospective and current Incursion owners.

Hi All!

For the benefit of those who haven't read my other thread - I should be picking up my NSA Incursion over the next couple of weeks from the Boutique. Actually, I was totally shocked to find the piece sitting there as I had been always led to believe that the 62 pieces were pretty much fully accounted for -  I'm definitely not complaining though. In the meantime, I've been feverishly trying to digest any morsel of information about the piece that I can.

Anyhow, when questioned about the watch casing, Boutique was insistent that is indeed DLC (not 'just' PVD as I had believed) and I received the following 'fact sheet' in the mail - to their credit in order to alay my fears. I'm still unsure though (and Nicolas has kindly offered to send inquiries up).

So, for all your collective reference, please find the following...

I also had another question/favor to ask of the Incursions Owners. Any chance of posting up a picture of the 'alternate' supplied strap that comes with the watch? Is it exactly the same as the alternate strap that comes with the 'Standard' NSA? Is there a difference?

Thanks All!

Stephen.

is stating PVD... I'm sure that Nico can answer you. Best, Kari

... But they stated that the watch wouldn't have "...DLC" in the title UNLESS it was DLC. Then went on to state that PVD is purely the process of application of a DLC (which is correct). If anything, the factsheet just added to the mystery... Definitely looking to Nicolas and his contact for the final answer on this one...

All watches were pre-booked and sold, only the last batch was delivered late, may be even too late for those of us impatient. You are probably benefiting from one cancellation due to a change of mind. I never seen the final product, I cannot confirm that they were issued as specified, But the specified treatment for those pieces was PVDed using titanium powder. A nice piece to acquire, you’re lucky.

BUT I can already bet with you that the case is in PVD Titanium. Best, Nicolas.

I just received the answer from the Manufacture. The LE of 62 piece has its case in ... DLC, while the Black LE in 19 pieces is in ... PVD. We are surprised everyday. Best, Nicolas.

Well, you know that the LE of 19 pieces had to come in black gold... Which ended in black PVD... Now, the original Grey PVD is Grey ... DLC. Best, Nicolas.
