Amanico introduces the Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931 London Flagship Special Edition, celebrating the opening of JLC's new London boutique. He highlights the watch's deep green lacquered dial and explores the potential inspiration behind this 'So British' color choice, from the English countryside to classic British Racing Green.
Color a lot! Very nice! :) Since I am not Brittish.... The case back engraving I could do without... Best Blomman
The engraving is not against or in favor of this Watch, to be honest. I see the link with the London Boutique, of course, but without, it would have been good as well. Best, Nicolas
Taking a simple Reverso model is quite nice as a base for these events. I'm just wondering after the blue, red, chrocolate and now green, if JLC is not using a little too much the "colored dial" trick. In the mean time, it must look very nice in the metal and remains sober (maybe I would have chosen something else for the engravement though, I'll never wear it on this side because of that). Congratz to JLC for their new important flagship store and thanks for sharing Nicolas! Cheers, Mark
Is ths design a true British racing green? The shots look like the green is way off from our favorite car color. I love th engraving. Nicely done. Retail same as a Ciencieros? Best Joe
but I have to confess that I like green dial I can not find the document but I think Jaeger has a wide color panel for the dials for its Reverso ??
I was wondering if one gets tired of this " all green "after a while The green reverso is also beautiful ;;as for the car !! Wonderful!!! Best Christian
