His photo-essay captures the beauty and complexity of these new releases, offering a collector's perspective on their design and wearability.
I knew that you would not be disappointed by the Datograph PC Tourbillon... it is a true masterpiece even if I stay with the Richard Lange Jumping Seconds! About the appointments, the Paris boutique didn't organize them: you entered the boutique and asked to see a specific piece. But the more complex ones were not available in Paris. Thanks for your report! Fx
No worries, just wait till another blizzard and I'm sure that RLJS will come to the rescue. I'm also very interested in that RLJS but my wallet doesn't ), at least in the near future. Rgds Raymond
I think by it's being featured as the main attraction on this watch it allows Lange's dead seconds to stand out a bit from the (growing) pack of excellent watches with this feature. And,of course, it is in the RL family-the observatory family, which gives it some cachet. BTW, you were the one who got me to study this piece more thoroughly when all i thought it about was "What, another dead beat?". You are a Prophet as well as a mythological Eastern European "shadow figure".
Dato Perpetual Tourbillon, can any man made device get better than that? At least for me that is a true dream watch. Actually, I probably won't even be able to dream about it :-(
