Mr.Gatsby's candid initial impressions of the A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus Chronograph offer a refreshing, unvarnished perspective on a highly anticipated timepiece. His focus on the aesthetic allure and immediate emotional connection, even before examining the movement, highlights how design and wearability can captivate collectors. This article delves into his personal experience and the community's broader discussion surrounding the watch's market dynamics and brand perception.

I have never experienced a brand that turned so arrogant in such a short time frame. ALS boutiques simple do not value long term collectors who bought their Lange watches over years from authorized dealers thus supporting to bring this brand up. Only focus is: make more sales. Having said this I will not buy any Lange&Söhne watch from a boutique ever and rather stay away from this arrogant people.
Basically boutiques only, where you have to buy some stuff before being allowed to buy what you really want. This is the golden age for watchmaking, money is flooding like never before, but like any other asset, it will be dumped when needed. It won't happen tomorrow, but the day will come 🧐
But when I received the watch — all is forgiven ! LOL. Life is short….who cares enjoy the ride mate. Cheers G
