A. Lange & Söhne's Richard Lange Pour le Mérite in rose gold is celebrated by author amanico, who highlights its deceptive simplicity. This article delves into why this timepiece, with its understated enamel dial and intricate fusée and chain movement, continues to captivate collectors and stands as a testament to horological artistry.

For me this watch has a similar character to the JLC Master Ultra Thin 34mm. Though of course the Lange is far more complicated, both watches' unassuming looks prevent the layman from knowing that incredible movements lie within.
If only it was 1-1.5mm smaller in diameter. A marvel. Thanks for sharing my friend
But in this family, I actually like the unsung, less popular Referenzuhr. There were lots of debate on the Referenzuhr here in 2010 when it was released but at that time, most people aren’t used to off-centered sub-dials….fast forward today, look at FPJ and many watches where the seconds sundial is placed all over the place. I also think the Referenzuhr was overshadowed by the 165th Anniversary pieces but the movement architecture is special and beautiful than PLM, aesthetically.
Pt version would be a great find isn't it ?! ;-) Best, mahesh.,
It is perhaps my favourite 3 handed watch second only to the platinum version we do rarely see. Best,
Excellent movement. Very low profile
