Some pics to share. I was invited for a Lange Singapore dinner tonight with fellow Lange collectors. It was held at a very nice French restaurant in Singapore on the 70th floor.

There are 2 clashing dinners tonight actually! The Rebel alliance of 3 indie brands vs the Richemont / Lange empire smile I end up attending both (used the force to clone myself). Will cover the other dinner on the Indie forum tomorrow.

Entrance to the restaurant. Typical Lange poster for events

The stage of the cosy dinner. I love such small family affair dinners amongst collectors, many of whom are close Purist friends.

All of the SIHH 2015 novelties have been covered in details during SIHH so I won't go into more details here.

What struck me most surprisingly was the new Saxonia series. The dual time is now 38.5mm and much more elegant IMHO. Even the 35mm manual wind Saxonia is superb! Not too small in my view

I like the Saxonia dual time in WG the most. Exceeded my expectations. The movement seemed less decorated than the other langes being an automatic with a large central rotor. I didn't find any gold chatons and the rotor is gold plated instead of solid gold (although it has a platinum ring on the rotor). Anyone knows why no gold chatons? The manual wind 35mm Saxonia movement looks nicer with the gold chatons, something I have come to expect Lange movements to have

The other novelties include the new Lange 1s now with the instant changing date, in house hairspring and the seconds hands resetting to zero when the power runs out. Available in PG, platinum and YG for now and the WG will come later.

The perpetual calendar Datograph in WG with very charming grey dial

The zeitwerk minute repeater! Unfortunately we only got to see a dummy watch today sad
A very impressive minute repeater with the decimal chiming system (instead of the traditional hour, quarter hours and mins chime) yet in the same 44mm case of the regular Zeitwerk

The 1816 anniversary piece in platinum with black dial was also shown. I am also moved by this piece .... Warming up to it more and more .

The new Datograph up down in PG black dial was also a hot favorite for the night. It also comes with the new deployment buckle which is a lot more comfortable. A rare sight comparing my Dufourgraph with the new "Dufourgraph up down" smile

Some other pics taken during the night.
The food was really good! I will come here again with my wife next time smile

Cheers
Robin

Apart from cloning yourself to attend both events, how did you manage two dinners and a plenary sesion? The Force is indeed with you ;) I am intrigued that our Bro watches - Wongraph or DaFooGraph or DufourGraph - limited edition never to be repeated can be a new edition because its different, now with power reserve indicator. (Sigh) At least we had 10 years of exclusivity. Regards, MTF
