It's one of the true watch design icons. I especially love this version with the moonphase.
...I think the AC has a couple of flaws with the layout and implementation. The 'Annual Calendar' in the sub-dial shouldn't be there. And a manual movement is impractical.
but I owned that L1 moonphase for a while. I seldom wore it, so I traded it. It’s a great watch, particular under a loupe/macro lens, and the distinct moonphase and day/night disks are delightful. But there were a few things that bugged me about it in really life. First, the dial color more often looks gray than black. Second, the date windows really should be black with white numerals rather than the opposite. Finally, if you wear any traditional L1 on your left wrist under a cuff, it is annoyi
The rose gold to have slightly better legibility for the 3 sub dials. However I have seen them in the flesh. I am not sure yet which version I will get

This turned out to be a lot more legible than I thought it would be. Love it.
