Yes, the dial can become much darker, like here (pics from iPhone, so not as sharp as I would wish...).
Admittedly, this Travelers dial doesn’t change that much… But the minute indices‘ visibility varies a lot
The slate grey with rose gold is quite stunning. Micro rotor with LF finishing is a delight. I had an origin opalaine and can say the LF case shape is sublime, very pebble like. I moved on from that because I had decided I would rather the micro rotor than the manual wind, with it being more iconic LF. Sadly the new prices on even a steel LF with micro rotor are 45k+, so for now I’ll admire those here 👍
