sebks takes readers on a thrilling journey to Furka Pass, famously known as James Bond Strasse, in his Caterham 7. His post captures the essence of high-performance driving on an iconic road, offering a glimpse into the pure exhilaration of a driver's car on challenging terrain. This article delves into the unique appeal of the Caterham 7 and the allure of driving on roads steeped in cinematic history.

Took my Caterham to Furka Pass for the first time this morning and it was an absolute blast! Furka is also known as James Bond Strasse because the Goldfinger famous mountain chase was filmed there.

The 7 is a rocket, I’m still in the engine break in period and can’t exceed 4000 rpm, I was with a friend in a 992, he struggled to keep path as soon as it started to turn wink

A driver’s watch in a driver’s car!

Breakfast with a view

Still a lot of snow but road was dry

Have a great WE!

Love the historical piece to this post, I’m not sure that I knew the Bond connection. That C 7 is gorgeous and love the color, I sure that you are still smiling from the experience!

You should take your Alpine to Zurich for a WE, I’d be glad to show you the amazing passes (like Furka) we have less than 2h away

The 992 is still in the garage, she’s not going anywhere… but the 7 spoiled it, it feels like driving a wet sausage in comparison …

I find the cornering in such cars (including the Alpine) so much more fun! And yours, in this exposed position even more! 🤩
