The watch is from the same collection as the recently announced Unicef Limited Edition World Time watches, you can read K's wonderful review about them here:

What is interesting however that there is no mention of Unicef anywhere on this piece

It is just wonderful and so comfortable on the wrist, however I prefer bracelets, so I've ordered one for it, looking forward to receiving it soon.

I'm really lucky to have such a good friend and I am grateful. Thank You.

what our fellow Purists had been saying about it, the colors of the continents are very deep and have a shiny luster to them, I don't have the photographic skills to capture it. You take the best pics imo. S

I hadn't been to a Montblanc boutique in years, so it was a nice experience to go recently to order the bracelet for my watch, their line of perfumes and fragrances for men is amazing also. I was very impressed. S

Great friend you have and a wonderful watch! The Arabic city ring adds more than a touch of mystique to the Orbis Terrarum - travels of Ibn Battuta on your wrist

Indeed, it does add the touch of exoticism of old world travelers, although in Ibn Battuta's case the sad aspect of his travels was that he never saw his mother and father and family again and when he did return home he was like a ghost from the past. Everything has an Opportunity Cost. Any idea why the Arabic version doesn't have the Unicef logo on the back? S

Will find out ASAP! As for Ibn Battuta - part of my Eco style 'anti library' (I have it but have not yet read it)

Are there any more? Japanese? Russian Cyrillic? Sanskrit? Thai? MTF
